Northside School is a K-8 facility. When North Warren Elementary School closed in 1992, grades four and five were added to grades K-3. In addition to regular education classes, classes are offered in Spanish, Music, Physical Education, Media, Computer Lab, Guidance, and Exceptional Children's Programs. Northside K-8 School began operating on a year-round schedule at the start of the 2012-2013 school year.

In 2013, Northside K-8 School began offering its first language immersion in Spanish education program for Kindergarten. The language immersion program uses the Spanish language as the basis of instruction. The lessons themselves are aligned with Common Core and Essential Standards. The Spanish Immersion Program provides an added benefit of broadening students’ horizons to view the world as a place of opportunity.

Northside Elementary School transitioned to Northside K-8 School beginning July 2014 with the addition of our 6th grade class. Each year we will add a grade level until we reach 8th grade. Adding 6th, 7th, and 8th grades will allow students to have the middle grade experience but in a smaller setting.

Northside K-8 School is a state-of-the-art facility which includes a media center, two computer labs, multi-purpose room, twenty-six classrooms, guidance office, administrators' offices, two lounges and restrooms for students and adults.
