The mission of South Warren Elementary is to value each student as an integral member of our school community. With a partnership of parents, staff, students and other stakeholders we are dedicated to making a positive and dynamic impact on our world. Al students are empowered to achieve success. The most important goals for each child are to develop confidence for learning, maintain the desire to learn and obtain the knowledge and skills to support growth.
Classroom Information Primary Classrooms We have three Primary classrooms (Pre-K/K). These classrooms have a full time teacher and teaching assistant. Students work in all areas of the classroom: math, language, sensorial, science, social studies/geography and practical life.
We have five classrooms grades 1-3. These classrooms have a full time teacher and teaching assistant. Students in these class work towards mastery of the standards set forth by CCSS and by NCDPI. Students in the third grade ready themselves for successful completion of the NC End of Grade Reading test as mandated by the state. Students work independently, as well as with their peers.
