1. Your child for an academic and developmental assessment (takes about 30 minutes)

2. Child’s official birth certificate

3. Child’s immunization records (shot records)

4. Proof of residency (lease, deed, utility bill)

5. Parent’s driver’s license or ID

6. Proof of income (one full month)

7. The child must have a health assessment within 30 days of enrollment

8. Military Leave & Earning Statement

9. Chronic Illness, Physician Documentation, I.E.P.

Our Mission

Warren County Schools Pre-K program seeks to prepare children for school success by providing free high-quality early childhood education based on child development research.

Our Pre-K program will:  

• provide a child-centered environment that encourages learning through discovery and exploration

• recognize that children differ in rates of development, backgrounds, and experiences

• establish a partnership between parents and school staff that supports children throughout their school experience

• allow children to learn fundamental skills through their own experiences, manipulatives, and other concrete materials

• use play as a tool for teaching and learning

• provide activities and lessons to strengthen each child's ability to cope with their thoughts and feelings

• be based on research about how young children develop and learn best
