Each Fall in Warren County Schools all 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students participate in the annual science fair. This year, COVID-19 brought forth unprecedented challenges in all areas of learning, and the Science was no different. Administrators, teachers, and county office officials put their heads together to implement a plan which would still allow students to engage in the scientific process virtually while sharing the results with others. Out of this collaboration, digital science fair projects were born.
Using Google Slides, Mariam Boyd Students created powerpoint presentations showcasing their project results. All students worked diligently to present their findings via digital projects which were met with great enthusiasm. We are so proud of our students’ dedication to learning, even from home. Congratulations to our 2020 Science Fair winners and a job well done to all participants!
