As part of this commitment, we’ll be administering an anonymous student survey for grades 3–12 after winter break.
This survey helps us better understand how students feel about their school experience — their connection, engagement, and overall well-being.
Important Notes:
• The survey is completely anonymous.
• Participation is encouraged, but optional.
• Families may review the survey questions: 3rd-5th Grade | 6th-12th Grade
• If you prefer your student not to participate, an opt-out form is available here.

Next week is Start With Hello Week here at Mariam Boyd. This is part of a national program from Sandy Hook Promise that helps students feel more connected by encouraging kindness, inclusion, and friendship.
The goal of the week is simple but powerful: make sure no one feels left out and everyone feels valued.
Throughout the week, students and staff will take part in fun daily activities to help build friendships, celebrate kindness, and boost positive peer-to-peer support. It’s all about helping kids feel seen, supported, and loved just as they are.
