Welcome to another fantastic year at Warren Early College High School! I am extremely excited and honored to continue leading the staff of Warren Early College High School. As a native of Warren County and a proud product of Warren County Schools, my community, and its members are near and dear to my heart. My educational career has been devoted to ensuring that a rigorous education is attainable for all students. I am eagerly anticipating working together with the dedicated staff, parents, and community, to ensure that our students continue the tradition of academic excellence.

WECHS is a partnership between Warren County Schools and Vance-Granville Community College. Our mission states: Warren Early College High School provides students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma and an Associate’s degree in preparation for future endeavors and global changes. Staff, parents, students, and community stakeholders will work together to instill in each student the academic and social skills necessary for responsible and productive citizens. Our vision states: Warren Early College High School provides a rigorous, focused learning environment that bridges the divide between high school and college. Our mission and vision statements are the foundation that forms and drives the education that we provide for our students.

Warren Early College High School exists to provide students the opportunity to be immersed in a rigorous academic environment that combines the expectations, requirements, and rewards of both high school and college. To accomplish this, our expectations are very high for our students and staff. WECHS is a five-year program; however, during the 2015-2016 school year, the Warren County Board of Education gave its approval for our students to graduate in four years instead of five who complete the requirements of a high school diploma and an Associate’s degree or sixty college transferrable credits. Since its approval, several students have taken advantage of this opportunity and we are so proud of them!
