Northside Bulldog Parents Reminder: Report cards were distributed today January 25, 2022 to all face-to-face students. Parents please keep the original report card and return signed the copied report card. If you did not receive a report card from your child this afternoon, please reach out to your child's teacher. All parents have been notified at this point in time, if there child was accepted or will be returning back to school from the Warren County Schools Virtual Academy. All teachers present today received a list, please check with your child's teacher if you have any questions. All students who were accepted to virtual school need to log on daily, and complete assignments in order to remain in the program.

Warren County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Monday, January 24, 2022 due to the threat of unsafe road conditions and black ice in the early morning hours. Students and staff at Vaughan Elementary will receive another message from your principal about third, fourth, and fifth graders moving to remote learning starting tomorrow, due to staffing shortages. Please be on the lookout for a phone call, text message, and a post on the Vaughan Elementary website for more information. Thank you.

Warren County Schools has announced that it will be on a 2 hour delay January 24, 2022. School will start at 10:00 a.m.

January 11, 2022 Announcement Northside Bulldog Families: Special thank you to all the parents for their cooperation during the power outage. We thank you for rearranging your schedule today due to the unexpected power outage. Shout out to the teachers and staff members who also reported to work without any power and assisted with getting messages out to the parents regarding Northsides status when there was no power. Thank you to Mrs. Perry and her staff who put together a breakfast for those students who were waiting for their parents to pick them up. Thank you to Mrs. Richardson AP who assisted with the bus transportation coordination efforts. It is an honor working with such a dedicated Northside Bulldog Family!

Good Evening Bulldog Families: Enrollment into Warren County Schools Virtual Academy Now Open! Mrs. Hope Davis, Teach Tech U CEO, will be accepting no more than 15 new students in each grade span: K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. In order to be considered for the program, parents must reach out to Mrs. Davis directly: S. IMPORTANT MESSAGE: Due to widespread power outages affecting the Warren County area, schools will be closed. Buses will be returning students home. If your child is a car rider, please make arrangements to have your child picked up as soon as possible.

Northside Bulldog Families: We have received official notification from the District that there will be a 3 hour school delay tomorrow January 4, 2022. School will begin at 11:00 a.m. Due to potential icy weather conditions that may exist in the morning.

Northside Bulldog Families: Special thank you to everyone today for your cooperation during early dismissal today. Our phones and internet were all down today. We appreciate the District reaching out to all the families to share the District -wide early release message. Kudos to our Northside bus drivers for all arriving safely to their destinations. We appreciated all car rider parents who were at the school to pick up their children. Thank you to all the Northside staff members for checking in with an administrator prior to leaving to ensure all students were accounted for prior to leaving. Thank you also to the cafeteria staff for preparing lunch service early today. One Love Covid-19 testing was started today, and will continue tomorrow.

Northside Parent Reminder: The winter holiday will begin starting on December 20, 2021 and will end on January 3, 2022. All students and staff are due back on Monday, January 3, 2022. Special congratulations to Mrs. Chiniqua Taylor for being elected as Northside K-8 School Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Taylor was also recognized by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction as a Teacher of Excellence from the Exceptional Children's Department. We also congratulate Mrs. Ebony Jones for being elected Northside K-8 School Beginning Teacher of the Year. Special thank you to everyone who attended the "Title I Accountability Meeting" that was held virtually last Thursday, December 9, 2021. 🚨GAME CANCELLATION 🚨All Warren County High School basketball games scheduled for tonight, Friday, Dec. 10, 2021, have been postponed, following standard COVID protocols. The games will be rescheduled for a later date.

Northside Parent Reminders: Santa Letters Warren Record Due December 8th, 2021. According to the Warren Record Newspaper " Letters should be legible and include the child's name, age and town where he/she lives. If a class sends letters please include the name of the school, names of the teachers and grade level. " We will bring all the letters from Northside and take them directly to the Warren Record. Northside Parent Title I Accountability Virtual Night Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. The link will be sent out via Dojo and on a flyer tomorrow. Northside Bulldog Parents: Vaccination Updates: Northside K-8 Parent Updates: Quarantined symptom free students who test negative, and have been fully vaccinated are able to return to school. Documentation of vaccination status must be presented upon or prior arrival. Families are now able to use a link to upload documentation, so that your child can return back to school.
