Northside Parent Reminder: Just another reminder, that tomorrow, Friday, December 3, 2021 will be a half day. Students will be getting out of school 12:30 p.m. Please remember to make arrangements for someone to be home when your child gets off the bus.

Northside Bulldog Families: Half A Day Reminder: Friday, December 3, 2021 Students will be release at 12:30 p.m. District Wide Virtual Science Fair/Teacher Professional Afternoon Work Session. Report cards have been distributed. Students received a copy to bring home yesterday and the original report cards have been mailed. Please feel free to reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions concern your child's report card once you receive it. Please continue to stay safe during this holiday season.

Good Evening Northside Bulldog Families: Just a reminder, that there will be no school starting this Wednesday, November 23, 2021 thru November 28, 2021 due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Students return back to school on November 29, 2021. Special thank you to Mrs. Perry Cafeteria Manager and her entire staff for serving a delicious Thanksgiving feasts for students and staff last Thursday. An additional thank you goes out our teacher mentor Mrs. Phyllis Williams for bring fresh bakery donuts for the entire staff to acknowledge Educator’s Month. She also gave each teacher she mentor’s a goodie bag. On behalf of the Northside K-8 Bulldog family we would like to wish everyone a safe and joyous Thanksgiving celebration.

Northside K-8 Parents Notification: Just a reminder, half Day Thursday, October 21, 2021. Students will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. Teachers will participate in professional development for the remainder of the day. Northside K-8 School Parent Reminder: Notices and copies of your child's report card went home today with your child. Original report cards will be mailed home after teacher conferences. Tomorrow October 14, 2021 is a half day (12:30 p.m. dismissal), due to virtual parent teacher conferences from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2021 there is no school for students and virtual parent teacher conferences will continue until 12:00 p.m. Parents if you have not scheduled a conference please reach out to your child's teacher. Special thank you to all the parents who have scheduled an appointment. We value and appreciate all the teachers and staff members who will be working late in an effort to meet our parents conferencing needs.

Northside Parents: It appears our phone lines have been down. Mrs. Jones, Administrative Assistant had to reset the phone lines. We do apologizes for this inconvenience. Special thank you to Office Hargrove who was visiting/making rounds today, and pointed this issue out to us. We will be following up with a tech order to ensure this matter is addressed.

Northside Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences October 14, 2021: A google parent conference sign up online document link will be posted starting on Monday, October 11, 2021. Several teachers would like to sign up their students' parents directly, if this is the case teachers will notify the parents directly no later than Monday, October 11, 2021. If you have not done so already, parents please reach out to your child's teacher regarding any missed assignments, because all grades are due on Monday, October 11, 2021.

Our COVID-19 dashboard is currently unavailable. We're making improvements, so we can provide you with current and accurate numbers of COVID-19 cases and quarantines in our schools. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we make these necessary system upgrades.

The Boys and Girls Club is up and running according to Ms. Taylor, Program Coordinator. The bus shuttle will bring Northside Boys and Girls Club students to Mariam Boyd every afternoon.

Northside Parents: Your child received a notice from Mrs. Richardson, Assistant Principal which purpose was to inform parents that students who ride Bus 109 will now be riding Bus 126 starting on Monday, September 27, 2021. The new bus driver is Mrs. Eunice Lewis. The combining of buses according to Mr. Alston Transportation Director was based on the operational needs of the Warren County School District.

Northside K-8 Families, This is Principal Michelle Dunbar. I want to share information with you about an incident involving one of our school buses this morning. I have received District approval to release this message now. Around 7:55 a.m., Bus 272 was involved in an accident with another vehicle on US-1 and US-158. The initial investigation into the accident shows the other vehicle turned into the path of the oncoming school bus. First responders, emergency medical personnel, local law enforcement, and Warren County Schools transportation administrators all quickly responded to the scene of the accident. Assistant Principal Richardson and I also went out to the scene to check on students, provide support, and make sure they saw familiar faces from the school. Students were evaluated by EMS at the scene. One student was taken to the hospital for further evaluation. The remaining students were taken to school on a different bus. Law enforcement is investigating the accident. Since the accident, we’ve been checking on our students involved in the accident, making sure they’re all okay, and personally contacting their families to let them know what happened. Knowing that we’re all one Northside family, I also wanted to let you know, and make sure you heard it directly from me with accurate information. I appreciate the quick, professional, and comforting response from our first responders this morning who helped our students. I also want to commend our students for how they handled themselves in a stressful situation. Northside K-8 Parent Reminder: Notices went out yesterday for students to take home regarding Thursday's half day (September 23, 2021). Just a reminder, please make arrangements so that when your child is dropped off by the bus, someone is there to receive them.

Boy's & Girls Club Notification: Just received word that the club will be closed until October 4, 2021. Per Mrs. Taylor Program Coordinator.

Our top two priorities this school year are to keep students and staff attending school in person and to keep them healthy. Parent Notification: "WeCare COVID-19 Testing" did not take place today. In addition, Warren County Schools is using a new texting system. You will need to respond by typing "START" as indicated in order to receive important text messages. iReady Math testing will start tomorrow.
