Greetings Vaughan Families,
This is Principal Mrs. McMannen with your weekly update. I hope you are enjoying your weekend! Thank you for the love and support you showed our students and staff on Friday. It was wonderful to see their smiles as they enjoyed their Valentine’s treats.
Please note that tomorrow, Monday, February 16th, is a teacher workday, and there will be no school for students.
On Tuesday, February 17th, we will celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day. We are asking all students to wear red as a symbol of kindness and compassion.
We are excited to invite you to our Family Reading Night on Thursday, February 19th! Our theme is Pancakes and Pajamas. Come out to enjoy a fun evening of reading, earn AR points, and enjoy some yummy pancakes with your child.
Progress reports will be sent home on Friday, February 20th.
Last week, our student attendance rate was 94.37%. Great job! Let’s keep the momentum going and reach our 95% attendance goal this week.
