Greetings Vaughan Families,

I can't believe we have made it to the final two days of the 2025-2026 school year! As we prepare to close out another successful year, I want to sincerely thank each of you for your support, partnership, and dedication throughout the school year. Together, we have helped our students learn, grow, and achieve great things.

I would also like to give a very special shout-out to all of the parents who volunteered to proctor during our End-of-Grade testing. Your willingness to give your time and support our school made a tremendous difference. We truly could not have done it without you!

Important Reminders:

  • Awards Day

for Kindergarten through 4th Grade students will be held

    tomorrow, June 8th

    .

  • Our

    5th Grade Promotion Program

    will be held on the

last day of school, Tuesday, June 9th

    .

  • We are asking all

    3rd and 4th Grade students

who have not yet returned their math binders to please bring them back to school tomorrow.

  • Report cards

will be available for pickup on

    Wednesday, June 10th

    .

As summer begins, I encourage all families to help students continue learning at home. Please encourage your child to read daily and practice their math facts throughout the summer. While summer is a time for fun and relaxation, maintaining these academic skills will help prevent the "summer slide" and ensure students return to school ready to learn.

Thank you again for a wonderful school year and for entrusting us with your children each day. I hope you and your family have an amazing, relaxing, and safe summer break filled with wonderful memories.

Remember: All In...We Win!

Warm regards,
Sophelia McMannen
Principal, Vaughan Elementary School
