Greetings Vaughan Families,
This is Mrs. McMannen with your weekly update. I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend! As we head into the final weeks of school, we are preparing for End-of-Grade (EOG) testing beginning Wednesday, May 27th.
Our testing schedule is as follows:
• Wednesday – Reading EOG (Grades 3–5)
• Thursday – Math EOG (Grades 3–5)
• Friday – 5th Grade Science EOG
Parents, please encourage your child to do their very best and remind them that they are prepared and capable of success. It is also very important that students get a good night’s rest each evening and arrive at school on time each day.
Please note: Students must arrive at school on time to test with their class. Once testing has begun, students who arrive late will not be allowed to enter the testing session and will instead have to complete the assessment on a designated make-up day.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership as we work together to help our students finish the school year strong. We know our Eagles are going to do an amazing job!
Remember: All In...We Win!
Warm regards,
Sophelia McMannen
Principal, Vaughan Elementary School
