The Reality of Money Fair is a free, hands-on financial education simulation presented by NC State Employees’ Credit Union. During this experience, students learn how everyday choices affect monthly budgets and lifestyles as they manage a salary, navigate expenses, and gain real-world insight into financial responsibility.
Volunteers play a key role in bringing this experience to life by guiding students through the simulation and sharing practical support along the way. Your time helps prepare our students with skills they’ll carry into adulthood.
If you’re interested in volunteering, please email ptaylor@warrenk12nc.org

At Warren County Schools, we’re dedicated to supporting the whole child — academically, socially, and emotionally. That’s why we use CharacterStrong tools to help our students build strong relationships, healthy habits, and a positive sense of belonging.
As part of this commitment, we’ll be administering an anonymous student survey for grades 3–12 after winter break.
This survey helps us better understand how students feel about their school experience — their connection, engagement, and overall well-being.
Important Notes:
• The survey is completely anonymous.
• Participation is encouraged, but optional.
• Families may review the survey questions: 3rd-5th Grade | 6th-12th Grade
• If you prefer your student not to participate, an opt-out form is available here.
Your partnership helps us ensure every student feels seen, supported, and valued. If you have any questions, please reach out to your school counselor — we’re here for you and your child.

On behalf of the Warren County Middle School Amazing Team, we extend our warmest wishes for a safe, joyful, and Happy Thanksgiving filled with gratitude! There is so much to appreciate in our lives especially the people who matter most. Take time to be with those you love, remind them how much they mean to you, and treasure every moment you share. Life is a gift, and so are the people in it.

Here are photos of some of the parents who attended.

Special thank you to Mrs. Kearney and her team ( Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Ramos, Mrs. Williams, and Mrs. Crump) for the delicious pre-Thanksgiving meal today.
