Dear New Tech Parents,
Please know that report cards for our fifth six-week grading period are being mailed via the USPS today and should be arriving at your homes in short order. As you are aware, the next six weeks will be critically important as final grades are determined for the second semester. Best wishes to all our Knights!

What a great opportunity!

Exciting summer opportunities for WCS students are forthcoming!

With our shipment of new Chromebooks now in stock, we continue to issue these devices to students. Know that you can pick up a new Chromebook by calling the school. We will then arrange a time for you to come to campus (with all social distancing protocols in place) and exchange your current device for a new one!

We had a wonderful time last evening as our Warren County School Board recognized New Tech’s Stellar Performers Mrs. Grantham (pictured here with her husband Royal) and Mrs. Joseph (joined by her proud principal)!

Math 1 Students - Remember that your spring check-in test is this Thursday, April 15. A packet of test materials should be picked up in the main office prior to testing. Best wishes!

This is just a reminder to all Math 1 students that their check-in test will be administered next Thursday, April 15. Students who are reporting face-to-face will take the exam on campus, of course, while those studying virtually will access the test from home. Our virtual math students will also need to pick up a packet of ancillary testing materials in the front office between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm prior to testing. Best wishes!

Great welcoming Knights back to the Castle this morning following a well-deserved spring break!

Wishing a wonderful spring break to all our Knights; classes resume Tuesday, April 6.

Great welcoming back our Knights who have elected to return to face-to-face instruction!

Our “coffee cart” transformed into “lunch on wheels” as Mrs. Harris helped us deliver a bite to eat to our dedicated staff. As spring break approaches, a little thank you for helping with testing and the return to face-to-face instruction for many Knights!

Sophomores who have not yet taken the pre-ACT are reminded that a make-up will be held on campus tomorrow, Thursday, March 25, beginning at 8:00 a.m. with all social distancing protocols in effect. Best wishes to those sitting for this important exam!

Yesterday, we recognized Delia Padilla, our February Student of the Month for the Class of 2024, and present her with a yard sign where she can share her accomplishment with the community; she is accompanied by her sister Maria, a proud New Tech Knight graduating in 2022!

Congratulations to Kayla Walker, our February Student of the Month for the Class of 2022; we were able to honor Kayla with one of our new yard signs after she and fellow juniors completed district-wide ACT testing yesterday!

More acceptances to some great colleges and universities for our seniors!

The members of our Class of 2021 are earning acceptances to some awesome colleges and universities!

Those juniors needing to take the ACT make-up test here tomorrow are also reminded that they will need to bring their Chromebooks to campus; best wishes on this important exam!

Congratulations to the Knights who have been recognized as our February Students of the Month!

Reminder to all JUNIORS-As you know, North Carolina requires all eleventh-graders to take the ACT test. Make-ups for those not yet meeting this requirement should report to campus tomorrow, Tuesday, March 23, at 8:00 a.m. for the test. All social distancing protocols will be in effect.

Great honoring senior Evynn Richardson this morning for her continued excellent work here at the Castle!
