🔢✨ Math in Action! ✨🔢
Our Math 3 Honors scholars with Dr. Recentes took learning to the next level yesterday! Their topic: Applying Functions – Transformation in Turbine Design.
Working with partners, scholars built turbine models and then described them using the day’s vocabulary: vertical shift, compression, reflection, horizontal shift, stretch, reflected parabola, and more. 🌪️📐
This hands-on activity allowed scholars to connect math concepts to real-world design while sharpening their collaboration and communication skills. Way to go, scholars! 👏
