Our Freshman Orientation/Commitment & Signing Night was a HUGE success! Our scholars and their families learned all about WECHS. At the end of our program, our newest scholars, with the support of their families, signed their commitment contracts. Our freshman transition program is a 2-part process aimed to smooth the transition from middle school to early college. The second part of the process will be Freshman Academy, which will be held on Monday, June 27-Tuesday, June 28.

WECHS has a graduation requirement of 60 hours of service learning. This is an opportunity for scholars to give back to their community by volunteering their time. We recognize students who accumulate 100 or more of service learning hours. These scholars have received a black honor cord to wear for graduation.
