Last week the Eagles basketball programs had three games. The varsity boys were able to finish the week 3-0. The varsity girls finished with a 1-2 record and will look to bounce back this week. Our JV boys finished the week with a 2-1 record. The Eagles have three more games this week, all at home, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Come out and support Eagles basketball if you can.

The Eagles football season came to an end this past Friday after their 3rd round playoff loss to Tarboro. It was a great season to be an Eagles fan! They finished the season with a 10-3 record.
The basketball programs will have 3 games this week. Tuesday and Friday are home games. Please come out and support. JV starts at 4:30 p.m.
EAGLES SOAR AND CELEBRATE ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE: Congratulations to our Eagle Scholars who earned recognition for achieving Principal's List (ALL A's) and A/B Honor Roll. Scholars celebrated with a recognition ceremony comprised of congratulatory remarks, certificates of recognition, and refreshments sponsored by our local business partners: SoulBachi, Trinity Eats, and Soo Jamaican Cuisine. WCHS football team won its first-round playoff matchup vs Southside by a score of 46-0. The team will travel to Hertford, NC this Friday to take on Perquimans High School at 7 p.m. The Men's & Women's basketball teams will travel to play JF Webb this Friday also, starting with Varsity girls. That game will tip off at 5:30 p.m.
The football team will host a home playoff game this Friday at 7 p.m. The men's and women's basketball teams held their first practices last week as they prepare for their first game of the season next Friday, November 22, at Webb.
SENIOR NIGHT RECOGNITION: Seniors from the Eagles Football Team and Charisma Cheer Squad were recognized Friday night during the final home game of the season. Featured is the Charisma Cheer Squad celebrating their Senior teammates.
WCHS Seniors met with County Commissioner Latasha Turner-Brothers to learn about the voter registration process. Students were given non-partisan materials to help them understand candidate platforms, how to fill out a voter registration form, and remaining data for voting. Thank you, Dr. Simons, for allowing our community leaders to enlighten our Seniors!
Motivational speaker Mike Hall spoke to our Freshman class to help inspire, engage, and motivate our students to attain the life they’ve always dreamed of and prepare them to be leaders.
The Warren County cross country team won their 3 straight conference championship this season. They also had 10 runners in total who made all-conference. Congratulations!
SFJROTC Cadet unit hosting a visit from the NCDPI. NCDPI's visit to SFJROTC was to receive information on how Air Force JROTC started at Warren County High School and how it transitioned to Space Force JROTC.

WCHS Dynamic Marching Machine participated in the Howard University Homecoming Parade in Washington, DC this past weekend and toured our Nation's Capital. Under the leadership of Band Director Jayson Pender, our band program is soaring and reaching new heights of excellence. Congratulations!
