The WCS School Board would like to thank Dr. Young for her leadership during this unprecedented and difficult time. THANK YOU to all Administrators, Teachers and Staff for their dedication to our children and their families during this global crisis. We are, TOGETHER STRONG !
Parents,
Starting tomorrow, we will continue to distribute food at Vaughan ES, Northside K-8 and Warren County High School. There will be a one-time pick up of food from 11am – 4pm. This one time pick up will include a combination of breakfast and lunch/dinner items.
We understand that many of our parents don’t have transportation. As we look to assist you in providing food to our communities, we are asking that you contact us at (252) 257-3184 or complete the Google form on our website TODAY by 5pm, so we can determine the needs of our community. Once we identify the needs of our community, we will determine next steps.
Thanks again for your support and patience!
Dr. Mary Young
February 21, 2020 was a scheduled half day for students with an afternoon work session for staff. Due to inclement weather, all schools in the district were closed that day. Banked hours will be used to make up the missed student hours on February 21, 2020. Principals are requested to inform staff, students, and parents how the missed student hours will be made up. Therefore, students will NOT need to attend school to make these hours up.
